    Vilcabamba, Valley of Longevity

Vilcabamba, Ecuador, is known to be a place where people live to an
average age of 100 years because of the clustered mineral water, rich
soil, simple farming lifestyle and invigorating mountain climate

Vilcabamba, in the valley of longevity, is located in a subtropical
climate, at 4600 ft. and the mountains around it rise to 18,000 ft.

For more information, check out this web site
(which is also where I got the above pictures).  Have I been to
Vilcabamba?  I have been through there en route elsewhere, but I
    didn’t stop…
